Purpose

The purpose of the Illinois Fire Service Administrative Professionals, a Division of the Illinois Fire Chiefs Education and Research Foundation, is:

to be an effective support system to the Fire Chiefs
to provide a forum in which Illinois Fire Service Administrative Professionals may discuss matters of mutual interest
to provide an educational channel for Illinois Fire Service Administrative Professionals in their continuing efforts to improve their efficiency and to elevate their professional status
to continue to set goals and objectives in order to keep updated with the ever growing Fire Service industry, striving to obtain information so that we may equip ourselves to serve our departments with even greater skills and knowledge

Business Safety - Preparedness

In order to protect the health and safety of employees and business continuity, owners and managers should

prepare, review, revise, and exercise their emergency plans and evacuation procedures; and
maintain emergency supplies and encourage employees to keep a portable emergency supply kit with essential medications and other personal items.
