Certification Process Prior to September 2009

Participants in the Illinois Fire Service Administrative Professionals Executive Support Personnel program prior to September of 2009 may apply for certification without submitting a Work Accomplishment Document.

Prerequisites consist of three (3) years fire service experience and successful completion of the Executive Support Personnel program offered through the Illinois Fire Service Administrative Professionals (IFSAP) organization.

The OSFM Application for Certification/Validation – Attestation Sheet is available on the OSFM website at http://www.state.il.us/osfm/PSandE/appcerti.pdf or on the IFSAP website under Training.

If eligible, interested individuals may apply for this certification, and would mail the original completed OSFM Application for Certification/Validation – Attestation Sheet to the current Executive Support Personnel Class Officer:

Upon receipt of the form additional required signatures will be obtained and the application will be forwarded to the OSFM for processing.
